Guy Elliott is a tenor based in London where he studied on a full scholarship at the Royal College of Music. Since completing his studies, he has built a varied career in opera, song, and concert work. Guy has won prizes at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Copenhagen Lied Duo Competition.

On the opera stage Guy has performed the role of Colin (L’Amant Anonyme, Bologne) for Glyndebourne Tour and covered several roles for the Glyndebourne Festival including Flute (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Britten).  Guy has a particular interest in baroque, classical and 20th century opera and has performed roles including Damon (Acis and Galatea, Handel), Belshazzar (Belshazzar, Handel), and Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Britten). During his studies, Guy performed the roles of Prince Phillippe (A Dinner Engagement, Berkeley) and Toby (Robinson Crusoe, Offenbach) for the RCM Opera School.

Guy is an experienced concert soloist with recent oratorio highlights including Messiah (Handel) at the Royal Albert Hall and Requiem (Mozart) at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna. This season, Guy will sing the role of the Messenger (Theodora, Handel) with Arcangelo in London and Antwerp, and on their upcoming CD recording. He is also a keen exponent of new and experimental music with notable performances including Stimmung (Stockhausen) with Singcircle at Barbican Hall.

A committed song recitalist, Guy made his Wigmore Hall debut in 2019 singing excerpts from Fauré's La Bonne Chanson as part of the Wigmore Hall French Song Exchange. He will perform a recital of works inspired by Edith Sitwell, by composers including William Walton, Noel Coward and Richard Rodney Bennet for the London Song Festival and Art Sung later this year.

Guy has a passion for arts education having worked with the education department of English Touring Opera on roles including Olly in Waxwings, an opera for children with SEN, and Orpheus in One Step Forward, a school collaboration. He has also performed songs from On Wenlock Edge (Vaughan Williams) with the education department of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Guy founded Workbox Music, a music teaching agency based in London, in 2020.
